Following Jesus requires that we respond differently to the world’s attacks.

In order to forgive, we must be motivated by genuine love and a desire to serve the Lord.

With his dying breath, the first Christian martyr forgave like Jesus. Stephen's ability do to that was the result of  everyday choices made long before.

Even if you're not throwing any stones, where you stand in times of conflict matters.

When we see in Luke how Jesus forgave those killing Him, it seems impossible for us to do. Then Luke shows us one of Jesus' earliest followers who did the same.

We can withstand terrible pain when we remember that we are ultimately in God's hands.

Real, restored relationship becomes possible when forgiveness leads to repentance.

Hurt people hurt people.

The Jewish leaders had been plotting His death. The Romans were experts in torture. So, why did Jesus say they didn't know what they were doing?

While they were killing Jesus, He forgave them. How?

That way that we judge, condemn, forgive, or give to others? That's what we are going to receive ourselves.

If we're going to be children of God, we best start acting like it.

Anyone can be kind to those who are kind to them. Jesus teaches His followers to do something considerably more challenging.

The world teaches us to ask, "What's in it for me?" Jesus teaches us to do for others what we wish would be done for us.

There's a way we normally behave...and then there's the Way of Jesus.
